Rabbi Ahuvah LowenthalRabbi Ahuvah Loewenthal is thrilled to have begun serving the Jewish Community of Oak Ridge  in January, 2024!   A 2012  graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College in Philadelphia, she has served as a pulpit rabbi, chaplain, and Hillel advisor.  She has extensive training in music and traditional Hazzanut (Jewish liturgical music).

Rabbi Ahuvah loved her two  years in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv during rabbinical school, studying at a variety of universities and yeshivot. More recently she returned to Tel Aviv for a study sabbatical.

Rabbi Ahuvah is the Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical Association. She  enjoys Hebrew, discovering new  Jewish music, biking, running, and word games.

Rabbi and her wife, Dale  Rosenberg, a Jewish educator, are grateful for being so warmly welcomed to Oak Ridge.
